"I’ve played about 50 matches with my new Talon X1, and it feels like I’ve been playing with it my whole pickleball life. The weight to power ratio is perfect for me, and the ball control is superlative. The paddle is an extension of my hand/eye coordination, almost like it reads my mind! This is a bitching paddle

"This paddle due to its unique nature the ball has an exstended dwell time in the paddle which gives you more shot veriability. Due to the dwell time benefit I would also extremely recommend this paddle to people who are struggling a little more at the base line because not only is this like the only quality paddle I have ever bought that actually has room for two hands on the paddle but generates amazing power but it does a great job at absorbing power into the face of the paddle. Another thing because this paddle face is a little heavier than most paddles and die to the Elongated grip the paddle has a higher twist weight and greater stability this is vastly beneficial for drops and especially dinks and if you weight the paddle as well you get more of those benefits overall I would recommend this paddle if you've been looking for a paddle and not sure what to buy cause of all the crazy different options get the owl. I can garentee your not gonna be able to get any paddle like this"

Decent but flawed

"Power and spin are fantastic however I could not get used to the heavy swing weight which is 131 (even after adding some weight at paddle throat). Touch game has hard to used to as it lacks a real connected feel hitting resets and touch volleys. I also did not love the long handle and the paddle width. It would be interesting if they could make a different shape like a hybrid or widebody."

"Really throws the competition off. . . Had many comments about the legality of the Talon X1. It spins well, cushions impacts protecting my elbow yet if swung hard, balls fly silently and quickly off the paddle face. A really interesting and usable paddle."
