The new choice of top Pro Players around the world including APP TOUR #1 Jack Munro, Yana Newell, Sheri Courter and so many more. At the heart of the Talon X1 is OWL’s patented APS - Acoustene™ Performance System, which integrates aerospace-grade carbon fiber with a nano-fused polymer dampening matrix. This cutting edge technology delivers incredible power with unmatched control and spin in a single paddle platform.

  • Paired with the True Carbon X-Frame Structure™ (a multi-layered, high-modulus carbon fiber unibody), the paddle maximizes integrity under stress for crisp control and explosive power in high-intensity exchanges.
  • Hybrid Spintech Surface™ blends textured carbon micro-weave with a performance friction coating. It provides maximum grab and optimized spin (over 2,300 RPM potential) for advanced shot-shaping, from aggressive drives to precise drops.
  • Balanced Reactive Core™, featuring a reactive polymer honeycomb with foam edge channeling for optimal flex, responsive feedback, and superior shock absorption. This is ideal for all-day comfort and reduced fatigue.
  • Custom Pro Elongated Shape enhances versatility in this elongated paddle through a longer paddle face for extended reach, compact width for nimble maneuverability, and an extended grip for secure handling from baseline blasts to kitchen dinks.
  • Available in aggressive Eclipse and sleek Midnight design options
  • Only paddle in the world that is triple USAP-approved paddle with USAPA Pro Tournament, PBCoR 0.43 compliance for sanctioned tournament play and USAP Quiet Category

Silently lethal; controlled chaos!

"The Owl Talon X1 Eclipse isn't built for passive play. True to its name, it behaves like a bird of prey: calculated, silent, and utterly lethal. Its primary superpower is sound suppression—striking with quiet acoustic dampening that leaves opponents unable to react to the true velocity off the face, much like an owl swooping in complete silence. It carries a heavier swing weight than your average paddle, demanding a strong wrist and confident mechanics to truly unlock its potential. But once you command that mass, the payoff is immense. The pop, power, and spin off the face are devastating when attacking. What makes it truly special, though, is its ability to stall and control momentum. Just like a raptor killing its speed mid-air to land softly on a branch, the Talon X1 decelerates incoming pace with remarkable touch and absorption. If you have the hands and power to handle it, the Eclipse is a silent apex predator at the top of the food chain."

Performance

"The owl paddle is unique in very aspect. I received it three hours before a DUPr tournament and took the chance to play with it having not hit a ball with it before. Boy, this paddle needed no adjustment. It hit the ground running instantly. . The control was amazing, the deception lively. Opponents were visibly troubled by the spin and deception. The non usual "tok" had opponents bewildered and uncertain. The ball seemed to "dwell" on the paddle until you decide exactly where you want to hit it."

PADDLE OF THE YEAR

"Just switched to owl TALON X1 and the spin is my most favorite part and strong drives! The paddle feels is so much better every-time you hit the ball. Best part is it tricks your opponent with it’s soft sound!"

Amazing Touch

"I have played and own the Selkirk Boomstik, Gearbox Ultimate, Gamma Airbender, Diadem Hush and now the Owl Talon X1 Eclipse all of them consider to be great paddles. But I have to say with confidence that the Owl Talon is the best in class of all the other paddles I have used and own in spin, power, control and amazing touch. By far the best paddle I have ever use. Congratulations to Owl for making such an amazing paddle"

Awesome paddle

"I have the talon x-1. I love it. Everyone is asking about it. I can get a great spin on the ball, and because the noise from the paddle is so reduced, people have a hard time knowing how hard I hit the ball. So far, it’s the best paddle I’ve ever had!"

Talon paddle

"I really like the paddle, has a nice soft feel. Doesn’t not rattle the wrist like some do. I was surprised that the loss of power was minimal. If the felt holds up I’ll be impressed. So far so good probably 8 hours of play in."

Mark W. (4/5)

Deep cut on side customer service appalling

"Arrived with deep scratch on side. Their shipping company UPS tossed it over my 180cm gate onto concrete. Contacted Owl support reporting there was a huge scratch on side of paddle and worried about integrity of bat due to bad delivery. Emailed Owl support on 8th July who said they forwarded to Warranty Team. Yet it’s been me chasing them up since 17th July. Sent them another message and they said it’s the first time they’ve heard from me. What is going on."

Jess (1/5)

Silent Killer

"This is my second Talon x1. I also have the midnight. Love them! So fun to play with the spin! It feels more like a conventional racket than a typical paddle which is hard off the face. A lot of fun for sure."

Jose S. (5/5)

"So quiet compared to other pickleball paddles and creates amazing spin. Doesn’t seem like extended use will cause less spin throughout time like other paddles as well so that’s less money spent on new paddles after some time!"

Edmond (5/5)

Great spin and buttery touch

"This is my first Owl paddle transitioning from the typical carbon fiber face paddles with various grit. This paddle is truly unique in its feel, sound, and performance. I really like the vibration dampening feel and the immense spin and plow through power. Hoping the next iteration will have less swingweight to make it quicker at the kitchen. Otherwise, I’m loving this paddle and hoping for more models in the future."
