Love the Talon X1

"As a seasoned player, I have played with a lot of paddles as the game has evolved. This paddle is by far the most fun paddle Ive played with. The spin the Talon offers is unreal, allowing one to hit shots that would be impossible with a regular carbon fiber paddle. The ball also comes off the face pretty quick, allowing for effortless power. After a month of playing, the only drawback I have had is hitting resets or controlling a backspin drop, I find myself popping those up more so than I would in the past. As far as the sound goes, I love how silent it is but my opponents hate it. I would love to see this paddle be UPAA approved for Pro PPA but unfortunately it is only USA pickleball approved. Highly recommend!"

"Played with Owl CXE for 3 years it got fuzzy. Played with another one for 2 years. My new Talon X1 is just as quiet and can spin the ball on a high lob 45 degrees after the bounce on a track floor we play on. On concrete not so much because the ball slips . Learning to spin the ball both left and right is a great tool to have. Playing partners laugh when a 4.0 totally misses a serve , look at their paddle and check the floor for debris. She is my new baby and I love it 🥰 ."

A Surprisingly Different Playing Experience

"The OWL Talon X1 has been a really fun paddle to play with. The quiet sound alone makes it unique, but what surprised me most is how different the ball feels coming off the paddle face. Somehow, my dinking and drives both seem to have improved, although I can’t fully explain why. I feel like I have better control and can generate more spin with less effort. There’s also a sensation that the game slows down a little. The ball seems to stay on the paddle face just a fraction longer, giving me more time to feel the contact and experiment with how I impart spin. Whether that’s actual increased dwell time or simply the way the paddle feels, it’s noticeably different from anything else I’ve played with. I find myself becoming more aware of my technique and learning how to shape my shots with greater precision. It’s not just a quieter paddle. It’s a different playing experience, and one that seems to be helping me develop better touch, spin, and control. I’m genuinely enjoying it."

Unique paddle

"There are too many great paddles coming out these days, and they're all very similar. Good spin, good power, better grit. This one is different and offers a couple advantages that no other paddle offers. First, the spin. Even the longer lasting grits don't offer the kind of spin and longevity that this Talon does. It seems to only get better with time. Second, the sound. People hate playing against this paddle because it is harder to read the ball coming off it than any other paddle. If you can handle the weight and the slightly unorthodox shape, I highly recommend this one."
