Owl Paddle Review
"I play a a +4 level and have tried numerous paddles over the years but never the Owl until recently. I purchased the Grey Owl 16mm w/ a 4. 6” handle length. This is a versatile paddle that provides great control to generate spin and power. The only drawback I have is the length of the handle is too short at 4. 6”. I modified the handle to get an extra 1/2” but it’s not the same as a manufactured paddle. I’m hoping Owl will come out with a new paddle with a 5” handle length."

Glad I switched
"I switched from an expensive other brand paddle to the Owl to help the pain in my wrist but go so much more. Yes, instant relief in my wrist, but also the paddle does the work. It is works for soft and for hard shots, it has a big sweet spot, and yes, it is nice to play without the sound. You will be surprised how much you enjoy playing with a quiet paddle. It felt a little head-heavy to start, but I put on another grip, which balanced it out and now I am glad of that extra solid feel. And a reasonable price. Try it."

Excellent Control and a Very Predictable Feel
"I’ve been using the Owl CX 16mm and have really enjoyed the way this paddle plays. What stood out to me immediately is the quiet, muted feel. The paddle has a very controlled response without feeling overly lively or unpredictable. This gives me a lot of confidence when blocking hard shots and trying to take pace off the ball. I particularly like the CX for the mid-court game. When playing against aggressive players, it is easy to absorb their pace and redirect the ball with good control. It feels especially comfortable for blocks, resets, and softer shots where touch and consistency are more important than raw power. The paddle also has a very predictable response. I don’t feel like the ball is jumping unexpectedly off the face, which makes it easier for me to control the depth and trajectory of my shots. The main trade-off is that the CX is more control-oriented. Generating power on aggressive shots requires a little more effort, and players who prefer a very lively paddle may find it too muted. For my game, however, I really appreciate that controlled response. What I Like * Very quiet and muted * Excellent control * Great for blocks and resets * Very good at absorbing pace * Predictable response * Particularly effective in the mid-court game Overall The Owl CX 16mm is a great choice for players who value control, consistency, and a quieter playing experience. For my style of play, it is especially useful when dealing with fast-paced rallies and aggressive opponents. I feel confident using it to absorb pace, reset the ball, and slow the game down when needed. Highly recommended for players who prioritize control and a predictable feel over maximum power. Rating: 8/10"

OWLSOME Paddle
"WHO knew a pickleball paddle could be this good? This paddle is a real HOOT to play with! The grip is a WISE choice, the shots are OWL-standing, and I’m definitely TALON everyone about it. It’s so good, I OWL-most feel bad for my opponents. 10/10 would HOOT again!🦉"

Game-changer for control and spin
"I’ve been using The OWL CX for a few weeks now and it’s exceeded every expectation. The control is incredible — I can place shots exactly where I want them, whether it’s a soft dink at the kitchen line or a precise reset under pressure. The spin potential is easily the best I’ve felt on a paddle; my slices and topspin shots have way more bite and are much harder for opponents to read. The paddle feels balanced and responsive without being heavy, so it’s easy to react quickly at the net while still generating serious power when I need it. Since getting mine, I’ve been recommending it to everyone I play with — a few friends have already switched over and love it just as much. If you’re looking for a paddle that gives you serious touch and spin without sacrificing pop, The OWL CX is worth every penny."

Game-changer for joint pain
"Tennis elbow and shoulder from daily play have cooled off tremendously after switching over. The curiosity from league mates and weird looks at open play are just an added bonus."

Pleasantly surprised at how well
"Pleasantly surprised at how well this paddle works. So quiet yet so much control. I love how well the ball comes off the paddle. It does take a bit more effort for those soft drop shots but super fun to use."

One word: Amazing!
"It's the most impressive paddle I have used so far. I love how I can finesse the ball into a spot on the court without breaking my arm to get it there. It is so quiet that my playmates ask me what I am using all of the time! The reviews on your site are true!"

Game Changer on the Court!
"I’ve been playing with the OWL CX for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The paddle offers an excellent balance of power and control, making it easy to switch between aggressive drives and soft dinks. The sweet spot feels very forgiving, and the carbon face provides great spin on serves and third-shot drops. The handle is comfortable even during long sessions, and the paddle feels lightweight without sacrificing stability. The design is also clean and premium-looking, which is a nice bonus. Overall, the OWL CX has helped improve my confidence on the court, and I would definitely recommend it to players looking for a high-performance paddle at a great value."
